The processing of the personal data of our users is carried out with your consent or on the basis of a legal permission.

In the event that the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, art. 6 para. 1 lit. d) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh this interest, art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR is the legal basis for the processing.

Regardless of a possible withdrawal of your consent, we process and store your personal data for as long and as far as it is necessary for the fulfilment of the respective purposes.

If your data is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes, it will be regularly deleted. This is done while taking into account existing statutory retention periods and other obligations.

If you wish to object to data collection, you can easily do so through our cookie banner or your browser settings.

3. Cookies

3.1. What are cookies

We use cookies and other web technologies on our website to make your visit attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. Many useful functions of our website cannot be implemented without the use of cookies.

A cookie is a small file that stores Internet settings. It is loaded by the Internet browser the first time you visit a website. The next time you visit this website, the cookie and the information stored therein will either be transmitted to the website that generated it (first party cookie) or to another website to which it belongs (third party cookie). In this way, the website recognizes that you have already visited it with this browser. Other web technologies are used for similar purposes, so that in this context we also refer to these technologies as “cookies”.

Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard disk at the end of the browser session (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognize your computer on your next visit (so-called permanent cookies).

Depending on their function and intended use, cookies can be divided into four categories: operationally necessary cookies, performance cookies, functional cookies or cookies for marketing purposes:

Operationally necessary cookies are required so that you can navigate and use the basic functions of our website, such as the assignment of anonymous session IDs.

Performance cookies are used to improve the user-friendliness of a website. They collect information about the use of our website, e.g. information about the Internet browser and the operating system; the domain name of the website from which you came, the number of visits, the average length of stay, and the pages accessed. However, these cookies do not store any information that would allow personal identification of the user.

Functional cookies enable a website to store information already provided (such as user name, language selection or your location) and to offer the user improved and more personalized functions. Functional cookies are also used to enable requested functions such as video playback.

Cookies for marketing purposes are used to offer relevant, adapted content to the user. They are also used to limit the frequency of an ad and to measure and control the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They register whether or not you have visited a website and what content has been used. This information may be shared with third parties, e.g. advertising partners.

3.2. Managing cookies in the browser

Most Internet browsers allow you to manage the use of cookies, e.g. to accept or reject all cookies or to accept only certain cookies. You can also set your browser to inform you when cookies are placed. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. You will find the options for managing and deleting cookies in the documentation integrated in the respective browser.

If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all the functions of the website in full. Please note that ordering from the shop is only possible with activated cookies.

3.3. Consent and revocation

If you do not deactivate cookies in your browser and use our website, you agree to the use of cookies for the marketing purposes described here. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future – for example, by refusing to accept cookies in your browser settings.

The legal basis is art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

3.4. Use of cookies

In order to make your visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance, or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited. IMPORTANT: This website only stores IDs in the customer’s browser; the assignment to the respective information takes place within the application.

Based on the session cookie, the website decides whether the respective user has an active shopping basket and whether the user is logged in. It therefore serves as identification between browser and server. No further information apart from the session ID is stored in the browser. The handling of sessions is controlled by PHP on the server side and should be considered independently of this website.

Your consent is not required for the use of such cookies. The legal basis is art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in providing the corresponding functions of our website.

4. Security information

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or destruction. Our measures in this regard are continuously adapted in line with technological developments.
